The Early Learning Center recently wrapped up a series of family workshops which included; Supporting Math at Home, Reading with Young Children and Getting Ready for Kindergarten.  The workshops were presented by the Delaware Readiness Teams to ELC families as well as community members.  The ELC feels strongly that partnerships formed among families, outside education organizations and the University, will continue to support the vision to lay the groundwork for exceptional early education practice.  By offering the workshops families will feel empowered with knowledge to be advocates for their child’s education both now and in the future.
